Unified Earth Administration (UEA)
In order to consolidate and organize the new age of space travel, the combined countries of Earth under the United Nations formed what is known as the Unified Earth Administration in 2100, a single entity tasked with the governance of both planet Earth and its off-world colonies such as the Lunar Refueling Depot and the Europa Scientific Research Colony. The UEA operates as an electoral democracy with representatives elected from each of the sovereign countries on Earth. While the countries continue to govern themselves individually, they all fall under the UEA’s policies and laws.
In 2156 after major infighting across the UEA Senate and Judiciary Council, the UNAF commandeered control over Sol and it's colonies, leading to a major collapse of the UAE and it's leadership.
It is believed that major corporations such as Donk Co. and Cybersun and {REDACTED BY ORDER OF CC} assisted the UNAF in establishing control after the UEA Senate attempted to pass a 60% Space Corporation tax across all colonies, however many believe this is just a conspiracy.
