Tengoku Commonwealth

The Tengoku Commonwealth, or TKC was founded in a binary star system, with their capital, still not yet named, a sandy desert planet with little to no water.

The TKC is a militaristic nation. It's naval and manpower rivals that of TerraGov. Although it is not frequently used by Nanotrasen, TKC refers to itself as a “Private Commercial Navy”, and frequently serves the highest bidder.

A nation built on the backs of its colonial predecessors, the Tengoku Commonwealth grew from a small coalition of 2 planets to a galaxy spanning entity in a little over 50 years. This nation is considered a big player in the game of the galaxy, however its internal politics are often filled with strife and misery.

All government offices are filled by military leaders, and service is mandatory to any citizen over the age of 18. Often at odds over border disputes with other nations, they are viewed with nominal distrust by multiple nations.

The TKC is known for it's harsh warfare tactics. With it's military power matching (or some say exceeding) TerraGov, the TKC does little to respect the “Charters of Warfare”. TKC has been known to use Chemical, Biological, and even Radiological weapons of mass destruction prior to ever declaring a battle.

TKC Citizens are known to be skilled in combat and maneuvers that most would not be capable of. While Nanotrasen does accept and hire TKC refugees and people that have been exiled from the nation, Nanotrasen does not accept any persons with active TKC citizenship onto it's vessels, including stations.
