Senior Staff Guidelines

Senior Staff generally are encouraged to assist heads by performing assigned tasks. This document has been made to list out some of those tasks that are "Regular Occurrences" and the expectations of what Senior level staff are expected to do / Perform. This document, while official, is subject to change at any time with the request of the direct head of staffs request. Senior Staff are expected to understand what they are empowered to perform, and what should be taken to a head.


Senior Content Review

Senior Content Reviewers are expected to:

  • Ensure Reviews are performed in a timely manner
  • Be knowledgeable on the Review Policy, and at times, encourage reviewers to stick to this policy
  • Make decisions regarding the need for a review
  • Make decisions regarding Test Merges
  • Assist the Content Director with any additional tasks that are needed / requested
  • Assist in continuance of training regarding new reviewers, and should be capable of explaining "How To" perform the daily tasks of a Content Reviewer

Should a scenario occur where policy is not being followed, and a simple encouragement does not suffice, Seniors are expected to report this to the Content Director, without taking this into their own hands.

Senior Moderation

Senior Moderators are expected to:

  • Perform in-depth investigations into Mhelps
  • Perform in-depth investigations into staff reports that are relevant to their accesses
  • Assist the Head Moderator in ongoing investigations that their access allows
  • Educate and Guide new moderators with Mod Policy
  • Should be capable of stepping into a ticket should a Mod become overwhelmed or overstepped

Should a scenario occur where policy is not being followed, and a simple encouragement does not suffice, Seniors are expected to report this to the Head Moderator, without taking this into their own hands.

Senior Administration

Senior Administrators are expected to:

  • Provide Guidance on rulings that are complex to Admins
  • Refer to previous rulings on similar situations, and make similar rulings as needed
  • Understand how to perform Log Diving investigations, and be capable of teaching this to Trials and Game admins
  • Be knowledgeable in the rules, and capable of identifying what rules have been broken
  • Encourage Game admins and Trials to follow rulings, and to not intervene in situations that should be handled "In Character"
  • Be capable in defusing a situation, whether this is between staff or players
  • Should be capable of stepping into a ticket should an Admin become overwhelmed or overstepped
  • Regularly check Senior Admin Channels and forums for important information and changing dynamics as informed by the headmins.

Should a scenario occur where policy is not being followed, and a simple encouragement does not suffice, Seniors are expected to report this to the Head Administrator, without taking this into their own hands. Should a scenario occur where a clear violation of Admin Policy is in order, Senior Admins are suggested to form a Staff report with relevant information.
