Equipment
Reverse Engineering Machine
Pretty much the only machine you'll actually need for reverse engineering. Most Epistemics departments start with this, but the Mystagogue usually has a board in their locker if the department doesn't have one.

| Safety | Toggles the safety protocols - less safety will produce greater progress towards reverse engineering the item, but run a greater risk of damaging it. |
| Autoprobe | Toggles whether to start a new probe automatically when the previous one finishes. This combined with safety means the item can effectively be left alone to research. |
| Stop | Stops the current probe, halting all reverse engineering progress |
| Eject | Ejects the item currently contained in the machine. Can also be done by alt-clicking the machine. |
