PAIs are ghost roles that are usually found around the game map and can be activated by anyone with hands. Once activated, the text "Searching for a pAI..." will pop up and the pAI will take the name "[ACTIVATOR]'s pAI" and lay idle until a ghost takes the role. There is an option to stop searching after the pAI has been activated to remove it from the ghost role list.

Although they have no ability to move on their own, they can still be moved by others. Additionally, there is a slot in your PDA to store the pAI.

Abilities

The pAI has access to the action "Software Catalog" which allows it to "Install new software to assist [it's] owner." The abilities remain the same for all pAIs.

Open up the station's map and help guide your owner.

Music

PAIs can play their own music with the Play MIDI action. The pAI soundfont is a simple semi-quiet retro tune with no drums and is suited better to high pitches.
